Advisory
Committee
The
Advisory Committee was formed in order to promote and advise
staff on matters of interest to High School Students in the City of Torrance.
The committee consist of at least 16 members, comprised of two representatives
from Bishop Montgomery, North High, South High, Torrance High, West High,
Shery High, Torrance residents attending other private schools and two
representatives from the Torrance
Youth Council. The Committee meets on the first
Monday of each month at 6 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room at .

advise, recommend and encourage activities and programs to be undertaken
for and with high school students of the City of Torrance |

Assess
and keep informed about the progress and development of all City of Torrance
High School student activities. |

the needs, and identify possible programs or activities of interest to
Torrance High School students. |

Stay
current with issues that affect and are interest to High School Students. |

| Responsibilities |

Encourage
and include peers with a broad range of personal and academic interest,
levels of education and age. |

Attend
all Advisory meetings. Members who have more than two un-excused absences
within a year's period may be dropped from the committee. |
